GSTC Chair, Luigi Cabrini, give a keynote speech at Tourism & Transport Forum Australia (TTF) Outlook Conference 2018 that took place in Sydney, 17 May 2018. Luigi’s talk titled «Managing Overtourism From Barcelona to Berlin: is Australia next to suffer from tourism fatigue?»

Since its inception in 2006, Outlook has developed into one of TTF’s most significant events for its members and the broader tourism industry.

The conference brought together public and private sector experts from throughout Australia and across the globe and compromises a one-day conference.

In 2018, Outlook will feature the theme ‘ Ahead of the Curve’ which will incorporate a new and exciting format. The program will offer a broader range of topics such as: The rise of the shared economy; The global overtourism phenomenon;  Security at major events and hotels with the threat of terrorism; The skills and labour shortages affecting the tourism industry.
