Fair Trade Tourism (FTT) is a non-profit organisation registered in South Africa that is dedicated to fair and responsible tourism development. FTT operates the world’s first, and still only, tourism Fair Trade certification programme. FEDEC, The National Federation for Ecotourism, Ecoparks and Adventure Tourism
FEDEC, The National Federation for Ecotourism, Ecoparks and Adventure Tourism, is a Colombian association of small and medium size entrepreneurs, universities and local communities, founded in 2002, with the aim to develop a word class sustainable nature and culture tourism in the country. FEDEC has been assigned by the Goverment as representative of the ecotourism sector, FONTUR’s Technical Advisory Committee and The Tourism Table for Labour Competence and Job Certification. FEDEC leads networking activities in business competitiveness, quality and services, knowledge management and innovation.
Forests of the World
Forests of the World is an environmental not-for-profit organization working to promote conservation and sustainable use of the world’s forests and natural resources. This is accomplished through innovative projects concerning sustainable tourism development and sustainable forest management. We collaborate with local communities, indigenous peoples, NGOs and private sector associations in forest areas focusing on Latin America. Georgian Tourism Association (GTA) is an organization of private tourism companies and hotels in Georgia. The association was founded in 2006 to promotethe cooperation between the tourism companies in Georgia, cooperation between private and public sector, sustainable tourism development in Georgia, accessibility of tourism information and country marketing, capacity building and quality management for tourism services. GoodPlace, Institute Factory of Sustainable Tourism
Factory for sustainable tourism also called GoodPlace is a non-profit institute from Slovenia. A key role of GoodPlace is to create the environment, which will encourage forward oriented thinking and will offer a number of solutions and tools how and why implement sustainable management in a travel sector both in Slovenia and internationally. In six years of experience GoodPlace become a key partner for the region for association Green Destinations, representative of Travelife and developed a number of joint projects with other international partners. GoodPlace developed Slovenia Green certification scheme for Slovenian Tourist Board, is accredited partner for implementation and a coordinator of Slovenia Green Consortium. Trough the consortium GoodPlace aims to simulate development of sustainable tourism offer its promotion and sales. For that reason GoodPlace joined the initiative to develop a travel agency (Visit GoodPlace), which is putting the green products on the market.
