Botswana Tourism Organisation, longtime GSTC Member and a GSTC Eary Adopter, has received the 2017 Tourism for Tomorrow Destination Stewardship Award by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), recognizing the three destinations of Chobe, Makgadikgadi and Okavango Delta in Botswana.

Chobe is home to the highest elephant concentration in all Africa. Makgadikigadi to one of the largest saltpans in the world. And when the Okavango Delta floods each summer, it attracts more than 200,000 large mammals.
