인증의 주요 단계들

1. 인증기관 비교 및 선택
아래의 목록에서 인정된 “인증기관” 혹은 인정된 인증기관과 독점적으로 제휴하는 “인증 기관”을 선택하도록 합니다.

2. 등록 및/또는 인증기관과의 계약 체결
인증기관은 여행사에게 등록, 신청서 작성, 수수료 지불 등을 요구할 수 있습니다. 일부 인증기관은 여행사와 인증기관 간 계약을 체결하도록 요구할 수 있습니다. 인증 절차를 시작하기 전에 일부 인증기관은 인증이 시간과 비용, 노력을 들일 만한 가치가 있는지를 판단하기 위해 간단한 자체 평가를 실시할 수 있는 옵션을 제공합니다. 비용은 이 단계와 연관될 수 있습니다.

3. 신청서/증거문서를 인증기관에 제출
인증 절차를 공식적으로 시작할 준비가 되면 여행사는 인증기관에 신청서를 제출합니다. 인증기관은 여행사의 관행과 절차가 GSTC 표준을 어떻게 준수하는지 확인하기 위해 다양한 증빙서류를 요청할 것입니다. 증빙서류는 인증기관에서 정한 기한 내에 제출해야 합니다. 인증기관은 여행사가 제출한 모든 서류를 검토하고, GSTC 승인 표준과 비교합니다. 이 기간 동안 인증기관은 여행사의 운영에 대한 모든 사항을 확인합니다. 이 절차의 기간은 여행사의 문서화된 정책의 규모에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.

4. 현장 심사

인증기관은 여행사의 사무실을 방문하여 해당 정책이 어떻게 시행되는지 확인합니다. 인증기관은 여행사가 선언된 비즈니스 관행에 부합하고 있는지 전체 그룹을 대표하는 여행사의 여행 상품을 심사하고, 인증 기관 프로세스의 일부에서는 전체 그룹을 대표하는 투어 운영자의 서비스 제공업체 샘플을 평가하여 해당 상품이 기업의 공식적인 실행을 따르고 있는지 확인합니다. 여행사는 인증기관이 작성한 평가 보고서 초안을 보고 이의를 제기할 기회를 가집니다. 이 기간을 통해 여행사는 인증과 관련된 추가적인 정보를 제공할 수 있습니다. 이 과정을 거친 후에 인증기관의 보고서가 최종 확정되며, 최종 보고서는 여행사에게 공유됩니다. 최종 보고서를 바탕으로 인증이 수여될 수 있는지 여부가 결론지어집니다. 

5. 인증서의 발급
인증기관이 여행사가 GSTC 표준을 충족하는 것으로 확인되면 인증이 확정됩니다. 정식 인증서는 인증 기관에서 발급합니다. 인증 신청서가 즉시 승인되지 않을 경우, 평가인은 여행사에게 권장사항과 시정조치에 대한 안내를 제공합니다. 여행사는 인증기관의 전담 고객 서비스 담당자와 협력하며, 부적합의 원인을 제거하기 위한 조치를 취합니다. 모든 조치가 적절하다고 판단되면, 여행사는 인증을 획득할 수 있습니다. 여행사는 인증 갱신 절차가 언제 시작되어야 하는지 인증기관에 확인해야 합니다. 일반적으로 인증 만료 4-6주 전입니다.

GSTC-Accredited Certification Bodies for Tour Operators

Tour Operators and tourism land transport providers may gain certification to the GSTC Criteria by contacting one of the organizations here. These certification providers fall into two types: Certification Bodies that are accredited to certify, and Certification Schemes that provide pre-certification consulting and training and guide the client to an accredited Certification Body to complete the certification. As such, these certification programs and their certificate-holders are authorized to display the designated GSTC Logo (per the terms of formal licensing agreements with the GSTC).

The Mauritius Standards Bureau (MSB) is a non-profit parastatal body in the island of Mauritius that certifies Hotels & Accommodations and Tour Operators operating within the Mauritian jurisdiction and territories, as per the GSTC-Recognized Standard MS 165 (Sustainable Tourism Management System) labelled as the Blue Oasis. MSB holds a prominent regional and international presence, contributing to standardization and conformity assessment bodies. The paramount goal of MSB is to drive industrial advancement and foster economic expansion in Mauritius, by boosting the local tourism industry towards sustainability.

* The above certification programs are Accredited for compliance with the requirements of the GSTC Accreditation Manual. These are considered “Certification Bodies” according to relevant ISO standards, the ISEAL Alliance Assurance Code, and the GSTC Accreditation Manual. Accredited means that the certification procedures largely meet international standards for transparency, impartiality, and competence.
