GSTC will be present at ITB Berlin 2024. Under the motto “Pioneer the Transition in Travel & Tourism. Together.”, experts from business, science, and politics will discuss new concepts and strategies for a travel industry in transition at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from the 5th to the 7th of March, 2024.
Roi Ariel, GSTC General Manager, will give a keynote presentation about Sustainable Tourism Standards at the 19th Green Business Forum for Tourism Professionals that will take place on Tuesday, March 5th at 14:00 at the ITB Lighthouse Stage in Hall 4.1b (Adventure Travel ∙ Responsible Tourism). Mr. Ariel will also speak about Inclusivity in Tourism on March 7th at 17:05 at the ITB Lighthouse Stage in Hall 4.1b along with, Nithi Subhongsang, Managing Director of Nutty’s Adventures, Thailand.
Additional GSTC representation includes Dr. Ioannis Pappas GSTC Director of the Mediterranean Region and GSTC Board Member, as well as the following GSTC Board Members: Rika Jean-François, CSR Commissioner of ITB Berlin; Elif Balcı Fisunoğlu, Vice General Manager of Tourism Operations and Development of the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA); Matthias Beyer CEO of Mascontour; and Netsai Bollmann, Programme Manager at the Kavango Zambezi (KAZA) Transfrontier Conservation Area Secretariat.
