Translations of the GSTC Criteria
The GSTC Industry Criteria and the GSTC Destination Criteria have been translated by volunteers into several languages and are available to the public for ONLY education, training, and awareness purposes.
The recently launched GSTC MICE Criteria is available in English. If you wish to volunteer to translate the GSTC MICE Criteria, kindly email us at criteria@gstcouncil.org
The translations should NOT be used for formal, technical purposes. Any formal use of the Criteria must be based on the English originals and apply a certified translation if used in another language.
GSTC-D v2 refers to GSTC Criteria for Destinations version 2 (2019)
GSTC-I refers to GSTC Criteria for Tourism Industry – Hotels & Tour Operators version 3 (2016)
GSTC-I (w/H indicators) refers to GSTC Industry Criteria with Hotels Performance Indicators
GSTC-I (w/TO indicators) refers to GSTC Industry Criteria with Tour Operators Performance Indicators
While earlier versions of the Criteria can be used for awareness and training, only the current versions can be applied to certification, awards, and measurement activities and programmes.
Old Criteria:
GSTC-H&TOv1 refers to GSTC Criteria for Hotels & Tour Operators version 1 (2008)
GSTC-H&TOv2 refers to GSTC Criteria for Hotels & Tour Operators version 2 (2012)
GSTC-D refers to GSTC Criteria for Destinations version 1 (2013)
